86 Springs

Recently my father has completed 86 springs of his life and the spirit is still alive in him to live a hale and hearty life.Kudos to his enthusiasm, not even  for a second he misses on his routine .He still feels young and energetic similar to the one which he might  have felt when he was in his thirties A salute to his Liveliness.

                                                                                  86 Springs

How long will we go is not in our hands,

But how good it's going to be at least we can plan,

Life  is so unpredictable nothing we can tell,

The spirit of liveliness should ring in our heart like a temple's bell.

Why to lose hope and think about our death,

death is inevitable ,live to the fullest till the last breathe.

What shall we take with us ,we are not sure,

Why to hold  grudges for others.....let's our mind be pure.

Now I would like to pour out my heart for My father

My words may fall short to say How Much I love you.

The dedication you put to raise us can never be repaid .

It's not only mother who shapes a child,it's the father who teaches the art how to survive.

You had your limitations but you gave the best we can have,

It's not the money but the time together we spent.

Holding my hand and leaving me at the school's gate,

waiting all day long to hold your's  back.

The week end's feast which you cooked for us,

I still get the taste when I lick the fingers.

Your old movies' songs still echo in my heart,

the way you sang ,those memories I cannot apart.

A gentle massage I used to give on your forehead,

You told me that was the time when you were the most relaxed.

How can I forget the ride with you  on the scooter,

T'was the routine and nothing can be more cuter.

The memories are endless ,all can't be written,

You are my father cat and I'm your kitten.

PS-I love You
