                                         Letters from the Past

Opening the folds of the letters and going through the lines 

bring back the days,the tale of untold story,

when my eyes ran over the words and finding did I miss out anything.

Couldn't raise my eyes till the last word I read ,yes running over the words which expressed your love for me ,

the moments we were not together but made me feel you near me.

Those  10 lines seems to take me to the place where only you and I can be,

nothing can give solace to my heart only the words you carved on the white sheets.

Letters you wrote are relics  still housed in my heart,

More the time ... the fresher the words  are getting .

May be the words which I couldn't understand then, now have  new meanings.

I  smell the pages which still  have your fragrance,

the dull words of cheerfulness still makes me laugh.

Aha!those were the days ....I waited all day long to get your love which was 

enclosed in an envelope ....I gently opened ...so that it may not fall.
