Water
When water fills the mouth it's called saliva,
When water fills clouds it's called rain,
When water rests on leaf it's called dew,
When water fills a stream it's called a river,
When water catches light it's called rainbow,
When water fills eyes it's called tears.
Water is the elixir of life .One water, different forms .This one element takes different form in different
vessel. When water is present in nature as a rainbow, dew, river ,rain - it gives abundant pleasure
to our eyes.
A joyous experience with nature gives us moments to celebrate because it has become very rare to find
true nature around us .The harmony with nature is like a song ,which is heard by the one who loves
nature and wants to be with it .
Gone are the days when we used to play on the lap of nature . Our greed and need have dug a deep
hole from where nature is visible yet completely out of our reach. We have created a world where nature
has become like a museum for us which we can see but rather than a living experience to inhabit.
While this short poem highlights nature existing in its physical forms, its closing line touches on a deeply
emotional truth: when water flows down our eyes as tears, it carries both our joys and our sorrows
What a relief , when tears roll down and allowing everything to finally settle back into balance.
