Sorry i'm not Interested


 

There are many occasions when you have used this sentence: "Sorry, I am not interested." This happens very often when sellers in a marketplace try to sell their products, or even at the airport when vendors call you over to glance at their goods. Your direct answer to them is, "Sorry, I am not interested," leaving no room for any debate or discussion.

Have you ever been this direct when it comes to your personal relationships? Of course not. It is easy to refuse vendors at a marketplace or an airport kiosk because there is no emotional attachment and no fear of losing anything, so directly, there are no strings attached.

But when we talk about personal relationships, there is an emotional string with which we are tied; if you pull the string hard in the opposite direction, there is a chance it will snap and ultimately result in the breaking of the relationship.

"I'm sorry, I'm not interested." I said it once and repeated it, so the other person should have understood what I wanted. I don't want to sink into a dead-end relationship that can go no further.

My life, my choice. Is it really that simple? Human life is too complex, and we make it more miserable by getting entangled in a relationship that has completely failed due to many reasons. The blame for a failed relationship doesn't fall on just one person; both are equally responsible. But in some cases, we find one is more responsible than the other—marred by broken trust, time constraints, infidelity, aggressiveness, fake promises, and above all, continuous arguments. When communication becomes a continuous argument, virtue becomes vice.

Quitting is a simpler and healthier path to follow because carrying the burden of a failed relationship should never be a compulsion. Being in a toxic relationship and continuing it is like choosing your poison. Be bold enough to say, "I am sorry, I'm not interested." This is the most apt use of this sentence.

P.S. We live once and we die once, so let no one bring pain and suffering into your life.

कुछ फुरसत के लम्हे संग गुजरते है

साथ रहना ,फिर दूर जाना ,फिर से साथ आना ,ज़िन्दगी कुछ ऐसे ही चलती है ,साथ रहकर जो हसीन लम्हे हम बुनते है ,उन हसीन लम्हो की छाप दिल में हमेशा रहती है चाहे हमसफ़र पास हो या दूर हो ..................।  कुछ फुरसत के लम्हे संग गुजरते है , चलो आनेवाले वक़्त को सवारते है , जो लम्हे पीछे छूटे गए , उन छूटे हुए लम्हो को पुकारते है , कुछ फुरसत के लम्हे संग गुजरते है , रात दिन जो सपने हमने संग देखे थे , उन सपनो को फिर निहारते है , कुछ पल फुरसत के संग गुजरते है।

  जब भी मैंने हनुमान जी को राम जी के साथ देखा ,या तो हनुमान जी राम जी  के चरणों में बैठे होते है , या राम जी से गले मिल रहे होते है , या फिर राम भक्ति में लीन रहते है I राम और हनुमान जी के स्नेह की कथा जग जाहिर है ।  जब राम जी पहली बार हमुमान जी से  मिले थे तो उन्होंने हनुमान जी को गले लगाया , इसके बाद हनुमान जी ने राम के चरणों में जगह पायी , इसका मतलब ये है की अपनी जगह श्री राम के चरणों में बना कर , हनुमान जी हमेशा के लिए राम के ह्रदय में बस गए । कितना सरल है हमारा सनातन धर्म ,कि चरण से सीधा हृदय में बैठा  देता है ।  ये बात तो हुई  बीते युग की ,अब बात करते है आज के समय की ,मुझे याद है जब भी हमारे यहाँ  कोई उम्रदराज या किसी बड़े बूढ़े का आना होता था, तब माँ और घर के समस्त सदस्य उनका आदर से पैर छूते थे । तरीका था ,अपने दोनों  हाथो से अपने बुजुर्गो के पैरो को छूकर आशीर्वाद लेना । अच्छा मैं तो यह भी पढ़ा है की नेपाल ,श्रीलंका और मॉरिशस में भी लोग दंडवत होकर प्रणाम करते थे, वो भी हिन्दू और बोध समुदाय के , दंडवत प्रणाम  केवल सम्मान नहीं अपि...
